“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”

– St. Francis of Assissi

We believe not only in the process it takes to create quality, custom furniture, but in the way it makes us feel as artists. Taking pride in what we do every single day reflects in the work we produce. To ensure we exceed expectations, we follow certain guidelines that make every piece a work of art.

Wood & Material Selection

First step in converting pieces of wood into a Rustic9 furniture piece is the selection of the right raw material. Each piece of wood is carefully selected for each project based on wood type, quality, color, and grain pattern.

Purpose

Measure twice, cut once is number 1 rule of our shop. We do not rush the process and take our time because perfection is in the details. Each piece is carefully prepared from the sanding to the turning to the glueing.

Finishing

Finally, each custom piece is ready for the finishing process. The stain/paint is applied and then sealed with the clients choice of sealant, lacquer or polyurethane. This final step brings the piece brings to life.
